2025 Joint Annual MAS-ASPB & UMD Plant Symposium

  SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT  

The joint annual meeting of the Mid Atlantic Section of ASPB and the University of Maryland is a two-day in-person conference that combines science, education, and networking to promote interactions among students, postdocs, faculty, and researchers in industry from around the mid-Atlantic region.

The meeting typically includes:

• Keynote speakers
• Plenary sessions
• Poster sessions
• Workshops in career development and grant writing

The Section encourages the participation of early career investigators, including undergraduates and graduate students. The organizing committee will select oral presentations from the submitted abstracts.

Abstract Submission Deadline:

For Oral presentation consideration: Wednesday, April 15, 2025 (midnight Eastern)

For Poster presentation: Thursday, May 15, 2025 (midnight Eastern)

Abstract Submission Guidelines:

Your abstract should be submitted as a PDF file and follow this format:

• Top line: Abstract title in boldface
• Next line(s): Authors' full names (first name followed by last name) with the presenter listed first
• Next line(s): Authors' affiliations
• Skip a line, then provide the text of your abstract, limited to 1800 characters (including spaces).
